Performing has been in Trevor’s blood from an early age. He has been dancing since the age of 12 and he took his first international steps when he was offered a scholarship to further his training in London at the age of 15. He trained at English National Ballet School and went on to perform as a principal artist around the world with major companies such as English National Ballet Company, Rambert Dance Company and New English Ballet Theatre. He has also performed locally as a principal artist with many companies including South African Ballet Theatre (now Joburg Ballet), Cape Town City Ballet and Bovim Ballet. He has appeared as a guest artist in gala performances around the world.
Wanting more of a challenge as a triple threat performer Trevor crossed over to musical theatre where he landed the principal role of Mr Mistoffelees in the 25th Anniversary production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cat’s The Musical which ran in London and toured Europe. He then moved on to another long running Lloyd Webber hit musical to perform in the world tour of The Phantom of the Opera. Most recently he was dance captain on the Swedish production of The Phantom of the Opera in Stockholm.
Trevor is passionate about music, singing and acting and it is this passion which is driving him to find ever more challenging parts as a singer and actor. Trevor firmly believes that an artist never stops learning and growing and he is constantly working at honing his craft.
