Thiru N – growing up throughout the major cities of South Africa resulted in an unraveling fascination about South African and foreign subcultures for this well traveled soul. Being a gypsy by nature, Thiru is accepted into most demographics of South Africa. While lending himself towards method acting, he often brings firsthand experiences to his characters.
He has played a number of roles with an array of accents and styles – in critically acclaimed theatre productions such as “The Coolie Odyssey” and “The Lahnee’s Pleasure “and has recently been casted for the one man play “Reoca Lights”. In early 2010 he played the lead Palestinian terrorist in a British docudrama for Discovery channel, titled “Taking Pan Am Flight 73”. Thiru is also featured in numerous short films locally.
With great enthusiasm for philosophy, psychology and understanding human nature, Thiru brings deep-rooted weight to his characters.
