Reg Hart completed his National Diploma in Musical Theatre at Tshwane University Of Technology in 2009. Fresh on the scene, Reg quickly established himself as a triple threat performer that could keep the audience captivated.
His professional theatre experience includes Pieter Toerien’s production of EVITA! The Musical (Theatre on the Bay and The Pieter Toerien Theatre, Montecasino), Jesus Christ Superstar (The Pieter Toerien Theatre), Janice Honeyman’s Pantomime CINDERELLA! (The Joburg Theatre) and Cabaret (The Pieter Toerien Theatre, Montecasino and Theatre on the Bay). He also joined the cast of Andrew Lloyd Webbers Starlight Express (The Joburg Theatre) and went on to play the role of Bernardo in West Side Story(The Playhouse Theatre, Durban). His Afrikaans musical credentials include Aspoestertjie and Sneeuwitjie, performed at Emperors Palace.
His film, TV and commercial experience include Liefling Die Movie (dancer), CONEX (Greece), Chicken Licken (SA) and Marshalls Outlets (USA), Sterlopers (Kyknet), KFC (SA).
Reg occasionally freelances as an Art director for SABC, and is also an established style expert with his own make over TV show “Maak My Nuut” (2016 ViaTV DSTV channel 147) and styled for commercial brands such as Edgars, Dr Martins, Lig Magazine and a number of music videos and celebrities. Reg gradually developed his own fashion label – #RHCreations (now available at @InJuly) in the beginning of 2016 and recently got appointed as the Fashion Stylist and Editor for Gay Pages.
