Noluvo Ntsunguzi made her acting debut in Beyond the Mirror in 2009, at the age of 14, which landed her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at Artscape. In 2011, she again won Best Supporting Actress at the Artscape for her involvement in the workshopped piece ‘I am an African’. Although highly passionate about acting, her love for the arts transcends to other genres including theatre, dance, singing, writing and directing.
Noluvo is finished her diploma at the University of Cape Town majoring in Acting. She has trained under the wings of Clare Stopford, Amy Jephta and Mfundo Tshazibane, in addition to working with Jackie Singer in an extract of Othello in 2016.
Her most recent theatrical work was an extract from Fatima Dike’s – So What’s New, directed by Rianna & Clare Stopford and her latest movement was in music video for Charlie Kay, a UK-based artist.
Noluvo takes a keen interest in accents and bolsters this up with masterful grasp of 4 languages namely Isixhosa, English, Afrikaans and German. Noluvo’s ambitions look to lead to her performing in a big classic musical on Broadway.
