UCT Opera School graduate and member of the award-winning South African Sopranos, Lynelle is no stranger to the stage. Operatically, she’s performed locally and abroad in various productions, more recently as Julie in Cape Town Opera’s UK tour of Showboat, Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro, and Saartjie in the award-winning Poskantoor (Aardklop festival). Lynelle became a beloved TV personality as the runner-up in the Top Billing Presenter Search in 2012, subsequently joining Pasella as a presenter and expanding her skills by adding voice over artist, MC and motivational speaker to her vast repertoire. Career highlights include performing with Katherine Jenkins, and master classes with Juilliard’s Brian Zeger. Since 2013, she has been making a name for herself in the musical theatre industry, starring in the two David Kramer productions “Blood Brothers” and “Orpheus in Africa”, and later this year will see her as leading lady Maria in West Side Story (Artscape), and making her silverscreen debut in Twee grade van moord.
