While almost content to spend his days surfing and chilling on the beach, Daniel’s hunger for the stage propelled him from sleepy Cape Town to the City of Gold, where in 2014 he completed his diploma in Dance and Musical Theatre at Oakfields College in Pretoria. He played leading roles in their critically acclaimed productions of Hot Mikado (2013) and the South African premier of Carrie: The Musical (2014).
Professionally, Daniel has performed in the ensemble in Dawid: Die Musical (2012, Addlife Productions) and Liefling (2013, Addlife Production), played the lead in the Naledi Award-winning children’s theatre production, African Adventure (2012 and 2013, Paisley Productions), as well as singing alongside Cito (Wonderboom Band) and Angela Killian in Queen at the Ballet (2012 and 2014, Bovim Ballet).
Quirky, fun and always with a quick word, Daniel’s enthusiasm and thirst for knowledge make him an artist who is constantly striving for improvement, and a person whose growth has no limits.
